Lenovo pad k1 tablet pc

It has 10.1 inch capacitive LCD multi-touch screen with max. resolution of 1280 x 800. Screen is very good, but it is not sharp as in other Tablet PCs. Screen is very reflective and glossy so it will be hard to view screen content on sun or even daily light.

Best of this screen is that viewing angles are good. There was some problems with touching on screen, for some commands we needed to press 2-3 times and we still can not figure it out is this software or hardware problem, but we think that this is because touch screen. Also, resolution of the screen only larges whole android system and that does not look great, but that will probably be fixed in the update of new version of Android OS.

LENOVO IDEAPAD K1 DESIGN

New Lenovo Tablet – IdeaPad K1 has freshly and fashion design, unlike other tablet PCs on the market. There are four different skins of back cover, you can choose between red, white, black or gray color. Front cover is in black color.

Tablet has rounded corners and has one hardware button under the screen (home menu). Also, there are some other hardware buttons on the side of tablet, like power button, volume buttons and one button for mute sound. We think that Lenovo done a great design job on this tablet and they probably targeted on younger audience and fashion lovers. We forgot to mention dimensions of th Ideapad K1: 264 mm x 169 mm x 13.3 mm and its weight is about 750 grams.

LENOVO IDEAPAD K1 PERFORMANCE

IdeaPad K1 has powerful performances and great hardware, but on the test it was worser than iPad 1 which has much more worser hardware and processor than new Lenovo tablet. IdeaPad K1 is running on Android HoneyComb in version 3.1, Lenovo did not made any special changes on main Android OS, so there is no custom Lenovo widgets or applications, most of them is default version of Android Honeycomb.

Lets take a look at tablets performances, IdeaPad K1 is powered by Nvidia Tegra 2 1.0 GHz processor and it has 1 GB of DDR2 RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. You will be able to upgrade it up to 64 GB in total with memory flash cards. Also, there are some standard hardware that all tablets have, like GPS receiver, Bluetooth 2.0, Wireless, 2 cameras (rear one with 5 megapixels and front one with 2 megapixels) and of course mini HDMi connector.

Built-in battery in Lenovo Tablet is quite impressive – 7400 mAhbut bad thin is that battery life is about 6 hours with normal use (7 hours when watching movies). There are two models of IdeaPad K1, one with only Wi-Fi and one with both Wi-Fi and 3G. This tablet is not so special, we will say that it is average, and all that because of price. Price is about $350 and higher for the model with  3G.
